CIS Building in Manchester

More formally known as the Co-operative Insurance Tower the CIS Building, built in the 1960’s, was Manchester’s tallest building for decades. It was designed as the offices and headquarters of the Co-operative group. I was stood at the top of the car park above the Shude Hill Bus Interchange to capture this image, which shows the construction work on a new development opening later this year just to the right of the tower.
