A few years back I was lucky enough to go for a flying lesson in a light aircraft. Obviously I was focused mainly on taking off, flying around and landing the plane, but I did take my camera for a couple of quick grab shots through the window. Above we can see the newly completed (at the time) Chill Factore indoor ski slope. To the right is Barton Bridge, taking the M60 motorway over the Manchester Ship Canal and in the foreground is the sewage works.
