There are a lot of very interesting black and white buildings in the centre of Chester, a lot more than in say Manchester for example, but this one in particular caught my eye. I didn’t really have time to stop and find out details of the shop / gallery below this first floor window, but I wanted to capture the “To God, my King and my Country” line below the window. Sadly there was netting over the front of the statue of what I can only presume is the King. If anyone knows more details about this building in Chester please let me know in the comments below.
