The changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace happens 4 times a week over summer. I remember standing in front of the palace as a child watching this 45 minute ceremony. Walking to Westminster after a bike ride in Hyde Park and seeing crowds starting to gather. I thought it’d be worth waiting to see what was about to happen. We stood at the gates of the Wellington Barracks on Spur Road. I wasn’t expected the Queen’s Guard march out of the gates so fast. Because of this there’s a little blur in their feet.
