The Millenium Bridge at Castlefield has appeared in many of my Manchester photographs and needs a clean. It’s meant to be white, but has certainly seen better days. That contrasts well with this massive canal barge in the foreground. With a wide angle lens on my camera it makes it look even longer. Although it was a cloudy Sunday afternoon when the above image was captured, there was still a great atmosphere in this area of the city centre, people sitting outside the bars and restaurants enjoying a bit of warm weather.
