Whenever I went over to my grandparents I used to look out for this house as a child. We referred to it as the “broken down house”. Obviously I have photographed the house years ago, but on my drive back home the sun was just setting over the horizon. Parking the car by the gate I walked over to try to get a warm image of the sunlit house just before the light disappeared for another day.
Taking only photographs – leaving only footprints
Whilst driving to Cheshire on business, I was also transfixed by this house seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I come from near North London and had never driven this route before. I was following my sat nav so didn’t realy know where I was. I stopped to take a pic (which I’d forgotten about over the years) so since I rediscovered it on an old SD card, I’ve been desperate to find it’s precise location.
I was showing it to a friend yesterday (8/9/2024) who suggested I use something called ‘GOOGLE LENSES’ to locate it, so I did and I did.
