In front of the old Pitcher and Piano bar next to the Bridgewater Hall is this fountain which I have walked past dozens of times on my way home from shopping or exploring the city centre. Last Sunday after going for a walk and Subway with Ciaran, I noticed how the fountains lights kept changing. No tripod with me, so set the camera at ISO 1600 and got the above photograph. A better shot taken last year can be seen below but the fact that the above is handheld is a testament to the light sensitivity of these new digital SLR cameras.
