Although the Beetham Tower or Hilton Hotel completely dominates the left side of the frame, it’s the details of this image, such as the moored canal barges on the right that made me want to share it. It’s a shame there aren’t more boats nearer where I was stood, but the line from the chain fence in the foreground seems to lead my eyes around the picture. Finally a little blue sky here in Manchester, a city infamous for being wet.
