This is another rather abstract image to illustrate the word “bokeh”. Bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blurry out-of-focus areas of an image, or in this case the whole picture shows bokeh. Different aperture shapes produce differently shaped circles. The word comes from the Japanese word “boke-aji”, which means the blur quality. Tomorrow’s post will show a sharp version of this image, but before I publish it, does anyone have any idea what this could be?
