Boat Watching at Roquetas De Mar, Spain

On the first night I landed in Spain, I found out there was a festival happening in the local town of Roquetas De Mar. It was a long walk down to the town and I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to take a lot of photographs of this religious festival, although I did see a street procession of hundreds of people. As far as I could gather they were heading towards the harbour and as I left to walk back to the apartment along the sea front I saw the above picture. Dozens of boats out on the water, presumably waiting for something, be it fireworks or something else. I didn’t wait to find out because I was so drained from the days journey and hadn’t eaten, but I did take this quick grab shot. Again, not my best photo but it is one that I somehow like.
