As I described in an early post I have a lot more interesting photographs I wish to share with you from last weeks tour around Northumberland. I ended up taking a lot of pictures in the town of Seahouses, especially around the harbour. This is where all the boats depart and arrive from the Farne Islands. There must be hundreds of people going everyday because there were dozens of boats coming in and out of the harbour full of people. Any school of photography will tell you that getting a little red into your pictures makes a massive difference, I often see portraits where the models are wearing red jumpers for example. With such a deep blue of the sea and cloudless blue sky I feel that the white of the tower to the left and white of the boat really contrast well against the colour of the water. I hope you agree.
