This was taken as a macro experiment with my 50mm and a Vivitar close-up adapter. It was the bright blue colour that drew me to this flower. I have seen hundreds of flower photographs and I was trying to get the effect of the stamen being sharp and the flower petals being lovely and soft. I have no idea what flower this is, but I thought it was worth sharing with you where my macro photography skills are up to.
