As you can see this photograph features a small beach or summer house by the beach just a quarter of a mile from the small village of Alnmouth, Northumberland on the north east coast of England. When first seeing this house I got the feeling I had seen it before somewhere and I had. My dad had stayed in a nearby cottage a year or two early and it had featured in one of his competition winning photographs. So I took a photo of the same beach house but from a different angle and at a different time of the day. We spent a week staying in a cottage about a hundred yards inland from the beach house last June. It isn’t my favourite photograph taken that week, but I recalled the story when looking through my archives.
