Baldwin Street Dunedin

As the world’s steepest residential street, this house is not suffering from major subsidence. It is simply on a steep road. The fence, tree and stepped pavement, should probably give you the clues you need. If you turn your head a little to the left, you might get a clearer impression of the steepness.  Baldwin Street in Dunedin slopes at about 1 in 2.6 in parts. Relatives back in the UK, may be pleased to know, that I did not drive my hired camper van up this road…very far.
