I recently had the opportunity to shoot some much needed portraits. As regular readers will know, I find it is best (especially with younger children) to take them out of the studio. So we all went down to Smithills Farm just outside Bolton. They had dozens of animals and a number that the kids could hold and touch such as this tiny chick. Kay held him up to the light and I was able to capture his portrait!
