Auckland Skyline from Westhaven

For me the biggest difference between Australia and New Zealand, is the weather. When travelling through OZ the weather was very consistent, despite it being winter. In Auckland, it changes unbelievably fast. As you can see, the weather has a huge impact on my photography. Last weekend, I had to convince myself to get out with the camera. After putting on the sun cream and packing a waterproof jacket, I headed outside.

In the end, I needed the sun cream more but did have to get the jacket out! This photograph was taken on my walk back from the Harbour Bridge looking across Saint Mary’s Bay to the central business district. It looks like a good spot to come back to around dusk one evening, weather permitting of course.
