Wanting to go for a drive, a friend suggested heading up to the North shore area one evening. Naturally, I took my camera and tripod. We ended up at Devonport, looking across the Waitamata Harbour to the city centre. This was my third time photographing from this area. There was still some light in the sky, which makes the Skytower look more dramatic. Last weekend the Christmas lights were switched on in the city and the tower is now lit up with green and then red at the top.
