Arch of Constantine

On every trip to a new city there are always amazing things that you didn’t expect and at the same time sights you expected to be better than they were. Don’t get me wrong, Rome’s Colosseum is amazing from the outside and worth many visits. It was the tour of the inside that I found to be a little lacking in good photographic opportunities (although from a history point of view it was fascinating and our guide really brought the place to life as much as he could). The above photo was taken from the Colosseum looking towards the Arch of Constantine and over towards the Roman Forum area.
