Standing tall between the Colosseum and Palatine Hill in Rome this huge triumphal arch seems to get overlooked by many tourists, but looking closely, on it’s own it is a work of art. What is more amazing is that it was built in the year 315 AD and stands at 21 metres tall, 26 wide and 7.4 metres deep – this thing is massive! Obviously it predates many other world famous arches such as the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and Marble Arch in London, which were obviously inspired or based on the Arch of Constantine.
