American Pool Break

I have been meaning to re-take this photo for years. Back in 2005 I captured an even better Pool Break on my old Canon compact camera (set on auto with flash off, hand held). Five years later I feel that my photography has come a long way and was ready to see how I could improve on the original (see below). I have been playing American Pool for about ten years, usually at least two or three times a month. This was taken hand held using the 10mm super wide angle lens with my camera on burst mode. The break isn’t as dynamic as the original, but I like the way that the eight ball has been kept pin sharp.
