Licence Examples / Price Guide

Stanlow Community Website

The webmaster at Stanlow.org contacted us to use an image of the Stanlow Oil Refinery. His website was a non-profit site for ex-employees of Shell. It would simply serve the purpose of illustrating where the members used to work. There is no advertising or commercial element to this .org website. As a result we granted written permission for free usage, with the understanding that my copyright stamp would stay on the image and the image would link back to this website.

Play the Gamer Website

An online entertainment and event management website contacted us for an image of a rally car to be used as part of their up and coming gaming league, which worked with some big name brands. This is obviously a commercial license but unlike many stock companies we only charged £110 for a 12 month web license and provided the original full size 3500+ pixel image. Check it out at Play the Gamer.

Jigsaw

One of the world’s largest jigsaw manufacturers contacted us wanting to use two photographs on jigsaws to sell around the world. We sold a four year license for limited use in the puzzle industry for £800. You can see an example of the view over New York Jigsaw on Amazon here.
