This statue was purchased and erected by Brampton Chamber of Trade for the people of Brampton in April 1999 and depicts Emperor Hadrian. As far as I can tell Brampton is half way along the Roman Wall, which was built between A.D. 122 and 128. This is the nearest big …(continue reading)
