The largest 'city' nearby is Hudson with a population of 8,000!! I have some great photos of sunsets in Stockport, NY which I think you might enjoy. Also, the Stockport Creek where we fish at this time of year for striped bass who migrate up from the Atlantic ocean to spawn and we capture them and eat them!!! Great site.
