Stanlow Oil Refinery at Dusk

I was very glad that I had grabbed my tripod out of the boot of my car, as it enabled me to capture the above HDR, combining three different exposure levels. In the foreground you can see the houses of Elton village, in the background the very dominating Shell plant known as Stanlow oil refinery and chemical works. The sun had just set over the welsh mountains in the background and this was taken from the top of Helsby Hill near Frodsham.
