Blue and Purple Spiked Flower
This is an unusual flower as I don’t ever recall seeing one, let alone photographing one before my visit to the Potting Shed near Applecross, Scotland. The strong shape and bright blue and purple tones really make for an exciting image. I only wish I had used a little smaller aperture to blur the greenery in the background. If anyone knows the name of this flower please let me know in the comments below.
