Balancing Metal Boat Sculpture

This is Kay’s boat; she got it as a present from our close friends and it stands in our garden. It was purchased at Willowpool Garden Centre. They have a choice of boat, plane or bird but we all preferred the boat. The sculpture balances on a metal pole and spins around. As you can see it is weighted by a glass ball that is the same weight as the boat to balance it. There wasn’t much colour in the original capture, so I thought that a black and white post process would work best for this photograph.
