Edinburgh’s National Monument in Monochrome

I’ve published almost half a dozen photographs of Edinburgh’s National Monument. To me it is one of the most interesting and impressive things to see in the city. This was obviously taken late at night. The sky was a strange purple colour, but I converted the photograph to monochrome (black and white) to give it more impact. There was a big flood light coming from the right to light it up.
