Ford Escort Mk1 RS Car

Ford Escorts and Ford Focus’ are probably the most common cars on British roads, however this must be one of a very small handful of original Mark One Ford Escorts that are still on the road. Especially as this is the “RS” (Rally Sport) version of the classic car. Inside it only had two bucket seats and a big roll cage behind the seats. I was only looking through the window (sadly I didn’t get a chance to sit inside). The thing I noticed most was a big red fire extinguisher strapped to the roll cage – true rally style!
