18ct Rose Gold and Diamond Ring

I haven’t done a great deal of stock or close up photography, but I enjoyed creating the above image of an 18ct Rose Gold and Diamond Ring. For this shot I used my 50mm f1.8 prime lens with a Vivitar close-up adapter on the front. Obviously diamonds rings are not only extremely reflective but also quite small. I focused manually by moving the camera closer and closer to the lens until the main area of diamonds popped into focus.
