Great Black Cormorant on Farne Islands

This Great Black Cormorant was photographed nesting on the rocks of Inner Farne in Northumberland back in the summer.Due to the very dark black feathers, these birds are extremely difficult to capture correctly exposed. Thanks to the raw data of the photo I could recover some of the highlight detail in the bird. I think that the small infant bird under its parent really adds to the final image above.
