Clay Pigeon Shooting

This is the second photograph I wanted to share from last Sunday’s shoot. This is what I started by getting and although at first I was very pleased with it, now it is more of a disaster and here’s why. They were using bright orange clays which stand out nicely, as you can see in the top right corner of the above photo, which is why I was very happy at first. However, we are looking at the back of the man, so much so we can’t even see his shotgun. Fortunately I will make up for this bad photo with another bad photo, but illustrating the advantage of a high frame rate. That is setting the camera to fire at six frames per second meant that this man hit his target, as you can see below.
