Lone tree at Bala Lake

On my drive to North Wales last month I decided to go via Bala, as I am determined to get a lovely photograph of this particular lake. As you can see from the very bleak image above, this is not what I had hoped to capture. You can’t always order the weather! However I tried my best to make the most of it and I thought this tree filled the area of sky nicely, so I made it work as a monochrome or black and white photograph.
