Bamburgh Castle from the Beach

Two years ago I spent over an hour walking around Bamburgh beach trying to find the “perfect” spot. However this year I went with Mark, John and Ken. John walked with us to these rocks. I wanted to include the rocks and water with reflections. The line of the rocks leads your eye to the castle along a diagonal line. When I first took this photo it was for my personal archives, because the sun was behind the clouds and it didn’t look anything like what you see here.
Then it started to rain heavily so we ran to the car and drove to the pub for a pint! However when we came out of the pub half an hour later the light was on (that is, the sun had come out from behind the clouds). So we ran back and captured the above image with the sun on the castle.
