People often say that animals and children are notoriously difficult to work with, but I believe they just require more patience and time. When I took my friend Kay’s dog for a walk, he kept running around and playing in the grass. I had just been sitting on the wall to take a photograph of the local church and as I came back into the playing field the dog jumped back over to catch up with us. This is where the 6 frames per second of the Nikon D300 really became useful. I deleted the other five but the above frame shows that one split second that I wanted to capture.
