Lake Windermere Jetty – Lake District

We read left to right, so as a photographer I am often conscious of this when framing pictures, because that is how we read photos too. So in an ideal world this Jetty would lead in from the bottom left and not the right. Then ideally there would be a nice white boat at the end of the jetty. We can’t have everything though. Here I like the way the water is so dark in the foreground and how the clouds are reflected in the water.
