Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station

Due to its location at the bottom of a valley, it is extremely difficult to find a good angle to take a photo of Edinburgh’s Waverley Train Station. Really I should have waited until one of the trains pulled out of the platform and into the foreground of my frame, but not only was I stood on a fence to capture this image, there were also three or four other photographers waiting to take the same photograph.
If you take enough photos, you often find that when you finish taking a picture and turn around to leave, there are other photographers trying to capture a similar image. I think this photograph can be taken in better lighting and weather conditions and so whenever I am next in Edinburgh I will aim to re-photograph this scene.
