Grevy’s Zebra at Edinburgh Zoo

Edinburgh Zoo is my favourite zoo in the UK for photography. There always seems to be a large number of animals that are waiting to have their photographs taken. What I mean by that is you can often go to a zoo and see a lot of animals, usually through unclean glass or wire fencing, making it hard to photograph. With Edinburgh Zoo I often seem closer to the animals making photography easier. The Zebra’s are fantastic photo opportunities because you view them from a raised walkway. This is why the above photograph is looking down on the creature. I was very lucky yesterday that the sun had finally came out and was in the correct place (behind me as I took the picture). This was the third time I had been to Edinburgh Zoo and so far the best photo shoot I have had there. More animal photographs will be coming in the follow weeks.
