Harlech Castle, North Wales

Harlech is a small seaside town in North Wales which was founded in 1283 by Edward I of England. It is best known for it’s large castle pictured above. The castle was open for visitors but it was mid- afternoon when we arrived. Jumping out of the car I took this photo in extremely windy conditions, but I knew that the light could turn on us at any moment. Five minutes later whilst sat enjoying a coffee it had clouded over and began to rain. It was another photograph of mine that was a case of being there at the right time. This photograph is certainly not the best view of the Castle, but due to the weather, it was the best I was going to be able to take on the day.
