Bamburgh Castle and Tractor

Bamburgh Castle is one of the largest castles I have seen, similar in size to Edinburgh Castle but not quite so high up. The above photograph was taken on my week in Northumberland last month. I saw my dad taking a photograph of the tractor and laughed at how old and run down it looked. The next day we were in the same area and I took this picture with the Castle and the tractor, the red of the rollers and green of the cricket field work really well against the deep blue of the sky. Sometimes plain, strong blue skies work well and I think it does here, although it would be even better with people all in white on the grass playing a game of cricket.
