Buckingham Palace, London

Today was our only full day and night of photography in London this weekend and we were definitely going to make the most it. We started of from our hotel and walked up to Buckingham Palace via Victoria Station. After taking some interesting photos of Buckingham Palace (like the one above) we walked through St James’s Park by the Lake, past the Admiralty and through Admiralty Arch. Took a couple of photos of Nelson’s Column and then caught the tube at Charing Cross on the Bakerloo line to Baker Street. From here we walked through Regent’s Park to London Zoo. With student discount and 20% discount vouchers we found at the Tourist Information we got into the Zoo for around ten pounds. It is nowhere near as big or extensive as Chester Zoo but I felt it was a lot more impressive than Edinburgh Zoo. You will have to wait to next week to read what happened during the rest of the day but I probably have half a dozen more London photographs to publish from today so I’m sure you will read more about the Zoo and more.
