Traction Engines at May Day Steam Rally - Flixton by Ed OKeeffe

This morning I got up early and headed over to Flixton. This was the 25th Anniversary of the May Day Steam Rally at Abbotsfield Park in Flixton. The weather yesterday was really sunny but sadly I couldn’t go then, so I had to make it this morning instead. There was a light rain in the air and there were a lot of photographic distractions. I got a few photos of various fair graphics but I thought I would share this photo with you. The picture shows about half a dozen Traction Engines steaming up.

It has been planned for a few weeks, in actual fact I was meant to go to the zoo back in October but because of the weather I didn’t. So I decided just to go whatever the weather. Claire packed a great picnic and headed out to Chester. There was a light rain which died down soon after lunch. I took over a hundred photos but nothing really special. I like this photo below but it’s a pity you can’t see this male Sea Lions eyes.

James Skate Boarding Jump by Ed OKeeffe

Happy Easter everybody, hope you are all having a great day and eating lots of chocolate. For me today was a day of family. I spent the majority of the day at my grandmother’s house seeing all my cousins, aunts and uncles. The weather was nice and sunny so I was out playing with my younger cousins in the garden and having a great laugh. My cousin James had his skateboard with him so I thought we could try and get some photos of him. The picture below is nothing special but OK for a first attempt.
