What a difference a day makes
Mar 2nd
After yesterdays lovely sunny weather I was amazed to look out of the window this morning to see heavy snow fall outside. Walking to college I took a couple of short cuts to grab a few snap shots. None of the photographs were very special so I thought I would come up with this image. The bottom image was taken yesterday (1st March 2006) at 4:39pm and the top image was taken today (2nd March 2006) at 11:49am. I couldn’t get photos in the same area but there is about a mile distance between the two locations. I love living in a part of the world with such varied and changeable weather.
Broken Car Wing Mirror
Mar 1st
The second day in a row of lovely sunny (if a little cold and winded) weather and so I decided that I had to get away from my college work and out into the sunshine. I went for a short photo adventure along the country roads near my house. I went out with the intention of revisiting and re-photographing the horses and other farm animals in the nearby fields. Obviously I did this but whilst walking along I found this broken old wing mirror which had obviously fallen off a passing car. I felt that the blue sky reflects really well in the mirror and the green contrasts well. Hope you agree.
