Four Red Cranes over Manchester
Feb 8th
Walking back from Tesco Express I notice the large number of red cranes and how well they contrasted against the blue sky. This was the first blue sky I have seen in nearly two weeks. A photo was a must so this is the best I got. Over the last two weeks I have taken a lot of photos of cranes around Manchester. There was actually five cranes working on this large building, but the other one was small and yellow, a little off the picture to the right. Sad I know, but thought it was interesting subject at the time.
Gas Heater Flame

Working on a large scale prop for an up and coming TV show at Granada. Because of this I have spent the last two days working in a cold warehouse. I was lucky enough to get hold of a big industrial gas power heater. Thought I would get a couple of photos of the flames. I nearly burnt myself getting this photo as I had to point the camera right at the flame. Totally worth it though, I just hope my camera isn’t damaged by the heat.
