Dunham Massey Building by Ed OKeeffe

Dunham Massey is a great place for walking and photography and today I had the chance for both. I went with loads of my family, it was very muddy and rained on and off. I took a lot of photos (probably too many) but I thought that this one was good enough to share. Hope your all having a great New Years Eve.

Belle Vue Greyhound Dog Racing by Ed OKeeffe

Greyhound Dog Racing is one of the sports I never thought I would have the chance to watch. I have always been against all forms of gambling until being invited to go to the Belle Vue Stadium in Gorton to the East of Manchester. There were 14 races and I probably bet on four or five of them. On the first race my dog won and I received 24 pounds from my 2 pound bet but overall I probably just broke even as the other bets weren’t so successful. The dogs go extremely fast around the track so photography is very difficult. This is the best we came up with.

Church on the edge in Stockport by Ed OKeeffe

I spent the afternoon in Stockport doing a final bit of Christmas shopping. Whilst on a little break from the shopping I went for a quick photo-walk. I only took one photograph today but I really like the image as I always remember passing this seen in the car as a child. I was always amazed why anyone would build a church so close to a big drop and then a motorway. Not the most impressive photograph but great memories for me.
